New Stuff – July 2012

We’ve got new fragrances available in the store now, including my new favorite scent: Spellbound Woods. This is a phenomenal scent, and I can’t get enough of it.

Spellbound Woods

Here’s what I wrote about it for the listing: “This is without question the most sensual thing I have ever smelled. Amber, musk, vanilla, sandalwood, cedarwood, with just enough light notes to keep it from being too bottom-heavy a fragrance; this blend is absolutely incredible.”

Which is not to say I don’t love the other new fragrances! I’m quite happy with the new Mango Smoothie, brought in to replace the Fresh Mango which I’d decided was a bit too green and sharp; I wanted something sweeter.

It’s sweet and fruity, delicious and mouth-watering, and just exactly what I wanted from a Mango scent.

Another new addition is Spiced Mahogany, the latest in our masculine-oriented fragrances.

Again, a quotation from the listing text: “A deep, rich woody scent with notes of Italian bergamot, apple wood and Tonka bean on top of sensuous patchouli, cedarwood, and oakmoss. Spicy notes complete this sophisticated blend and make it pop.” It’s very dark and spicy, and I think soon it will be added to our aftershave lineup.

And last in today’s lineup of new scents: Dragon’s Blood. We’ve had a Dragon’s Blood soap before, in early 2010, but didn’t replenish the supply when it ran out. It’s getting another chance in the sun now, with a new look:

Dragon’s Blood

Complex and dark, Dragon’s Blood is a fragrance frequently found in incense. It’s a gorgeous scent, and is sure to please lovers of Patchouli, Sandalwood, and Amber.

That’s it for now, but there are more new things to come soon!
