A little piece of the modern prairie – handmade soaps, lotions and more!
So, I promised soap photos, and here they are: Freshly poured, in the mold, three batches of soap
Restock of Back in the Saddle. Pay no attention to the blobs of soap on the side of the mold; I’m a bit of a messy soaper sometimes.
Restock of Before the Harvest.
New spring scent: Amazon Lily Rain. I can’t wait to see what this looks like after it comes out of the mold! Should be available in late February.
Your soap turned out beautiful Amy, thanks for sharing! =)
Thank you! All of them have fragrances from Bramble Berry, too!
Beautiful! I especially love the mica swirls on the top of the first two – gorgeous.
Thanks! I freely admit I am currently more than a bit addicted to mica swirls – they’re so fun to play with!
Yes – those mica swirls, especially the Before The Harvest, are stunning to look at. I cannot wait to see what these are going to look like cut up. The spring soap is so soft and lovely – a perfect illustration of the spring that we are all aching to see. (Some of us in the northern latitudes more than others…)
Thank you! I cut them the next day, but my camera has been acting up. There’ll be a photo of the Amazon Lily Rain in a later Soaps Of Spring post, at least; the others look only slightly different from previous batches of the same soaps, and I may or may not be updating the listing photos with new shots, depending on how long it takes the camera to start behaving itself.
